Eat-Learn-Live Series: Sustainable Agriculture


This is four week Wednesday evening Eat-Learn-Live series. Over the 4 weeks presenters will lead the study about sustainability from ecological, economic and societal perspectives, so that we more fully appreciate the wonder and beauty of creation, better understand the issues from a world view, and are able to make informed choices as we seek to care for our environment.

Time: A light supper at 6:30pm will be served for a small donation and the program starts at 7 pm

Caring for Creation Series: The Why of Sustainable Agriculture, Rev Alan Sippel
Caring for Creation Series: The Christian Imperative. It will explore how individuals can make a difference both individually and collectively.

Wed. May 2nd: Critical Reflections on Sustainability, the Food System, and Social Change,
OSU Prof. Jeff Sharp

Wed. May 9: Integrating Economics and Environment for a more Sustainable Energy Future,
Dr Fred Hitzhusen

Wed. May 16: Environmental Stewardship: What Can We Do?
Dr. Greg Hitzhusen, OSU & Power and Light

May 20th: Environmental Festival!
The series runs 4 weeks and will culminate with an Environmental festival in the parking lot on Sunday afternoon, May 20 where community groups may present their sustainable activities.
