Thank You!

We had a full house Friday night for “The Global Power of Local Food: A GROW Dinner” at the Whetstone Park of Roses Shelterhouse in Clintonville!

More than 100 guests and volunteers joined us for a panel discussion featuring Nigerian farmer Susan Godwin, Granville-based farmer Bryn Bird and Local Matters Co-Founder Noreen Warnock. If you would like to host your own Grow Method dinner, please request the materials—place mat and info booklet—through Oxfam America’s website at http://actfast.oxfamamerica.org/index.php/?utm_source=OANav&utm_medium=web&utm_campaign=ACTFAST

Our goal is to complete as many Grow Method meals as possible by Oct. 31 to count toward Oxfam America’s World Food Day dinner goal of 300. Please feel free to order materials throughout the month and beyond.
